October 20 - 22, 2006 : Melbourne, Australia

Location: Swinburne University Melbourne, Victoria, AUSTRALIA

AusForesight 2006 creates the opportunty to bring the extended Australian foresight community together in a shared physical space to celebrate and recognise what we are trying to achieve. This coming together provides a platform for developing a renewed understanding and increased enthusiasm for the rich capability that exists across the Australian foresight community as a whole and within the individfuals and existing communities that are a part of this.

The aims of AusForesight 2006 are to:
  • Bring together the broader Australian foresight community - for networking, education, awareness, collaboration and fun
  • Create an increased profile forforesight through targeted publicity abut this event
  • Discuss the opportunity for an "association for Australian futurists"

In addition to the Australian , AusForesight 2006 welcomes participants from the global community to share their experiences and interests in a regional and global cooperation.

We invite you to come along to AusForesight2006 to learn, share, enjoy and be part ofthe opportunity to create new collaborations that can assist in the accelerated adoption of foresight use in social and organisational settings within Australia and across our world.
