Joan is founder of Alsek Research, independent analyst of future global socio-economic trends, and publisher of a subscription-based newsletter for financial professionals, specializing in globalization of financial structures and systemic behavior of capitalist markets.
With 20 years experience as director and senior strategist for large corporations throughout Asia, Europe, and the U.S., Joan cultivated a strong interdisciplinary approach and long-term perspective, which she applies with futures methodologies to provide business intelligence. Ms. Foltz holds an M.S. in Futures Studies from UH-Clear Lake.
